Student's Corner

My son Nathan started learning piano when he was about 5 years old and he loved piano very much at that time. However, because of moving, we've been so tired of looking for new teachers. We changed teachers again and again. My son even didn't want to play piano anymore until we found Tatiana, she was our best luck. She is not only a professional musician but also a passionate teacher for all ages, especially for younger students. Her amazing hands-on teaching brings enjoyment, confidence and quick progress to the kids. Inspired by her, my son found back his enthusiasm, he loved piano more than before. With Mrs. Tatiana, my son won the prize in a big competition in only 3 months. She is very strict on techniques, meanwhile she is very nice and warm personally. My son and I love her so much. - Nina

What makes Tatiana special is her dedication to music of the highest excellence. Tatiana teaches with a serious love for music, because she brings her heart into piano. Tatiana always pushed me to be my very best, putting up with the ups and downs of not practicing enough to excelling at a piece. She cares about her students’ improvements as musicians and their personal growth, and I felt that every time she focused on my technique and heard her communicating with my family that she tremendously cared for us. - DW

Tatiana is a kind and caring person. She always does her best to make you the best you can be. She motivates kids by giving them toys at the beginning, and she also lets you talk - or complain about your day, and comforts you when you’re having a hard time. Tatiana always says that winning the gold medal from piano competitions is not for her, it’s for you. So if you work hard, you can always get at least some prize in the competitions. Tatiana also really focuses on details, and will spent every minute, until the last second, perfecting everything until it’s perfect. This makes all of us really stand out in competitions. Overall, I think that Tatiana is a great teacher that will lead you on your way to success. - AW

Tatiana has been the piano teacher for my daughters for 10+ years. She is as professional as any teacher can be in teaching piano. What sets her apart is her heart as an artist that demands perfection in both the student and the teacher. Her dedication to the art of music is so complete that she often spend much more time beyond the paid lessons in order to polish the students' skills to another level. Even though sometimes she seems strict to some students and parents, but her drive to make her students to push themselves to go to the next level, makes her not only respected but also universally loved by her clients. Her preparation for music competition is meticulous. We are so grateful that our daughter got good standings in the annual US Open Music Competition each year. Tatiana will be always greatly appreciated. H
